The Data Centre Group delivered a coordinated data centre infrastructure solution across three UK sites. The scope covered detailed design, Cat6A and OM4 cabling, multiple hot aisle/cold aisle containment solutions, ladder rack and fibre runner systems, 3-phase CPDU power and an energy-efficient cabinet baffle system.
The existing environments contained legacy equipment that needed to be mapped into a new, consistent infrastructure without disrupting operations. The programme also required phased rollouts to minimise disruption while maintaining interoperability and improving energy efficiency.
The Data Centre Group developed detailed designs for each location and delivered a phased rollout covering Cat6A and OM4 connectivity, containment, rack infrastructure and power distribution. Legacy equipment was mapped into the new environment, with energy-efficient cabinet baffles incorporated to improve the overall efficiency of the data centre solution.
