Skyscanner is a global travel company helping millions of travellers plan and book their trips with ease and confidence. With offices across multiple international locations, the business required a consistent workplace experience that would support collaboration, flexibility and security for employees and visitors alike.
The Workplace Technology Group was commissioned to deliver a standardised technology solution across Skyscanner’s offices in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Singapore. The project combined advanced audio visual collaboration systems with cloud-based access control and video surveillance, creating a seamless user experience while ensuring secure access to office spaces and critical infrastructure throughout the estate.
We partnered with Zoom, LG, Logitech, Lightware, Sonos, Biamp, Crestron, KiSi and Verkada on the project.
Skyscanner’s international footprint created a requirement for a consistent technology experience across multiple offices, while the spaces themselves ranged from small meeting booths and standard collaboration rooms through to games rooms and event spaces. The technology also needed to balance ease of use and collaboration with secure access to office areas and critical infrastructure.
Delivering this across different locations required the groups to align systems, user experiences and security requirements while accommodating the existing conditions and requirements of each individual site.
a standardised AV environment using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Logitech, Biamp, Lightware and Crestron technologies, with solutions adapted to suit different room types. Barco UniSee video walls were installed in reception and event spaces, while a bespoke jukebox enabled employees to stream music through the Dante audio infrastructure.
The Security Group complemented the AV solution with KiSi cloud-based access control, mobile credentials and visitor QR code management, alongside Verkada cloud-based video surveillance. Together, the groups delivered a joined-up technology environment that supports collaboration, flexibility and secure movement across Skyscanner’s international estate.
